Everyone is talking about the latest drama unfolding with the missle tests by North Korea, especially after learning that the intent was possible landfall in Hawaii.
At what point to we pick up with tougher approach to North Korea? I admit, I am far from a foriegn policy expert and don’t know or fully appreciate what chain of events certain actions would set off that would be unfavorable for the US.
That said, if someone is making every attempt to build up weapons that they obviously wouldn’t be shy using against us, especially when led by a leader who thinks of himself as God, do we really have a choice but to go forward with a plan to mitigate the threat posed to our nation. Say, something like taking out their missle sites.
I think this scenario is much more palatible than the one presented by PollPundit if we waited for them to actually be successfull in launching a nuclear device at the US, because I agree with PollPundit that we would be required to respond with OVERWHELMING force to any attack.
